Health Equity

Keck Medicine of USC is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality health care.

Committed to Quality and Uncompromising Service Excellence

California law (Assembly Bill No. 1204) requires the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) to develop and administer a Hospital Equity Measures (HEM) Reporting Program. The HEM Reporting Program aims to enhance healthcare quality data and requires the development of hospital equity plans.  Each year, hospitals must submit a report to HCAI that identifies areas where variations in care exist and outline plans to improve equity. This data is used to guide Keck Medicine of USC in developing and monitoring our hospital strategic planning efforts to reduce variations in patient experience and outcomes. Keck Medicine of USC’s reports contain details on our commitment to make sure our services are high quality, accessible and equitable for every patient we serve.
